Interesting photographs.

We used to hear the phrase "good old days". Or "the good ole days".

I wonder if this period might have been the time being referenced…? I don’t think so!!

We are in trouble now but not even close to times like this!!!

Petrol back then was about ten cents a gallon and higher octane.

Asianet News reader Venu Singing during the news hour break using  his red laptop as a nice harmonium.

Venu is using his laptop and enjoying in singing capacity like anything.The latest news I heard is that he has been sacked from asianet,and now working and reading news for Manorama News channel.

The stamp was designed by Kosta (Gus) Tsetsekas and John Belisle of Signals design Group, Vancouver. The stamp design features a figure releasing a bird in an artwork style that is similar to that seen on ancient Greek pottery. The bird, a metaphor of the journey many Greeks and other immigrants take to reach Canada, carries a maple leaf and olive branch in its beak as a symbol of the intertwining of the two cultures and societies.
